Hedges Pictures

I'm Travis Hedges Williams, and this website is a library of my creative endeavors. Through the years those shenanigans have included low-budget filmmaking, stage performances, the written word, and so much more. Have a look around. I mean, you're already here, so, might as well...

Hedges Pictures has produced 32 movies, been an Official Selection in 26 Film Festivals, and Won 12 Awards.

When Wendy Grew Up World Premiere Screening

Hedges Pictures will present the world premiere screening of When Wendy Grew Up, a new adaptation of Peter Pan, at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12. The event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Jones Auditorium (in the Ragsdale Center) on the St. Edward’s University Campus. A map and parking information is available here.

Evening attire is suggested. The film runs one hour and forty-five minutes. Members of the Austin Ghostbusters will be on site to take photos with guests.

During the event donations to SEU’s William Cahill scholarship will be encouraged. This scholarship is available to student employees of the Office of Information Technology who have the financial need, maintain high academic standards, and have a track record of excellence in their job.

When Wendy Grew Up is a production of Hedges Pictures in association with Wild Canvas Media. It stars Marissa Falsone, Travis H. Williams, James Drake Coleman, and more than a dozen actors from Central Texas. Williams directs with Coleman serving as Director of Photography. The film includes an original score by Brice Rafferty.

By the age of fourteen Travis had already begun writing for the stage and screen, served as the lead host on Fox 44 TV's Kid's Club, learned his way around professional film sets, and been seen as a principal actor in multiple theatrical productions. In the many years since he has pursued his passion as a multifaceted storyteller, honing his craft as an actor, writer, director, and producer. He has performed in ballets, musicals, classics, world premieres, comedies, and dramas, and has been formally honored by many organizations for his performances. As a filmmaker with over 30 titles to his name, he has picked up a diverse group of awards over the years. Travis served as an associate producer of the Red Stick International Animation Festival (which, at the time, was the largest event of its kind in the United States). As an avid board gamer, he was one of the original cast members of the I Heart Board Games Twitch channel and his Must Love Board Games films have been praised by Rodney Smith (Watch It Played!) and Tom Vasal (Dice Tower). In addition, Travis graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University with a degree in General Studies and went on to earn a master's degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management. He has co-authored a work published by the Society of American Archivists and his contributions to librarianship have been recognized by the Texas Historical Records Advisory Board, the American Association of Law Libraries, and the Louisiana Library Consortium. Oh, and one time he ran a marathon.
